Demand Studios is a content site that is a great way to earn up front money while waiting for the payouts of revenue sharing sites. Demand Studios does not accept all who want to write for the site and the application process is in depth. Once accepted by Demand Studios a writer has unlimited earning potential.

In order to apply to Demand Studios a writer must submit a full resume and a writing sample. Applicants have the option of also providing links to work on any other content sites they may write for. The length of time an applicant has to wait to hear back from Demand Studios varies depending on how many applications are received at any given time.
Writing for Demand Studios
Once accepted by Demand Studios writers are able to claim assignments from a wide range of topics. Titles are listed and writers must create articles based on said titles. Demand Studios requires different styles of writing for different types of articles. The site provides style guides for each article. For instance, fact sheets have a short word limit and requires only one to two sentences after each subheading, where as an article in how-to style has a longer word count and requires ideas to be explored in greater depth.

Article Reviews
Before an article is accepted for payment it is submitted for review by a copy editor. If the article is in good shape it is accepted immediately. If changes need to be made to a article it is sent back to the author for a rewrite. Articles must be rewritten in 24 hours or they are rejected. If the rewrite is not up to par then the article is also rejected and the author will not be paid.
Getting Paid by Demand Studios
Different assignments are worth different amounts of money. Usually Fact Sheets are worth $5 because they are short and easy to write whereas most other articles are worth $15. Writers are paid via Pay Pal once a week and payments are usually deposited on Fridays. Midnight Wednesday is the cut-off for payments for articles in any given week.
One downside to writing for Demand Studios is once a flat fee article is accepted and paid for the author does not make any more money off of it in residuals. Demand Studios does offer revenue share assignments from which a writer can continue to earn from the article for five years.
